Epson Europe B.V. is the European Headquarters of Japan-based Seiko Epson Corporation, established in Amsterdam in 1990 to take on the special challenges and diversity of the European, Middle East and African markets. Epson Europe addresses the need to effectively manage operations and communication in an atmosphere of fast-paced changes within the intensly competitive high-tech information and electronics industry.
We have had a presence in Europe since the establishment of our first sales companies in the UK and Germany in 1978. Since then, our network has continued to expand throughout Europe, Middle-East, Russia and Africa, meeting the particular needs of our customers in their own local markets. Our aim is to satisfy our customers by delivering the highest level of service and support to match the quality of our products.
The Epson name was derived from the idea of the company being the offspring ("son") of the EP-101, the world's smallest electronic printer (EP) which was created in 1964. Epson offers an extensive array of award-winning image capture and output products for the consumer, business, photography and graphic arts markets. We are also a leading supplier of value-added point-of-sale printers and transaction terminals for the retail market, of innovative electronic devices as well as factory automation robots.
